Windows 8 build 7700: Trivia

1. Gadgets in this build do not work properly because of the new IE9 mode.

2. This build of Windows 8 has a few API files that don't exist in any other version of Windows, such as api-ms-win-core-localregistry-l1-1-1.dll.

3. Certain String Table resources and strings, such as strings 204 and 205 in AudioSrv.dll.mui, and resource 1 in umpo.dll.mui, have been removed due to changes to the Audio Endpoint Builder and User-mode Power Service, such as the separation of the Audio Endpoint Builder service to a separate file.

4. The Display.dll and umpo.dll files from this build of Windows 8 do not work properly on Windows 7 RTM or SP1, using this build's Display.dll on Windows 7 will break the Advanced settings link in the Screen resolution control panel, and this build's umpo.dll simply refuses to work on Windows 7.
